Meet the Ellis Miller team:
Ellis Y. Miller, J.D.
Ellis graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of Kentucky, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky. Ellis is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Holmes County Bar Association. He has his Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 licenses and Life/Health License.
Ellis and his wife, Rita, enjoy traveling to visit their four adventurous adult children. As a hobby, Ellis enjoys singing a cappella with area singing groups. Along with their cat, Abella, his family enjoys an idyllic life in the woods, close to the village of Kidron.
Geneva Schlabach, Client Services Manager
Geneva joined Ellis Miller in January, 2009. She has been married to Lamar for 15 years. They have 4 children; Daniel, Maggie, Joshua and Hans. Geneva enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, having dinner parties with friends or a night out with her husband at a favorite restaurant. She also has a particular love of creating chocolate confections.
Irene C. Burgett, Director of Operations
Irene joined Ellis Miller in July of 2006. She is a graduate of Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her degree is in Finance. She has her Series 7 license and Health/Life license in the state of Ohio.
Irene is happily married to her husband, Jeremy. The new joy of their lives is Lena Mae who was born in August of 2008. They have a dog, Maci, and a cat, Ruger. She enjoys reading, cooking Italian cuisine and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys dining at the Olive Garden and other local favorites.
